This place is a real gem. Given the price it exceeded our expectations. Our room was bright, cheerful and very tastefully furnished/decorated with some beautiful touches like the bathroom door, wallpaper and high ceilings. Very comfortable bed with down duvets and fluffy pillows. Thoughtful practical features such as hairdryer, hooks in the bathroom and a luggage stool.
The common areas are equally as lovely. The staff/owners were extremely friendly, helpful, and available to give us excellent restaurant recommendations and bus information. We had made a mistake when booking our reservation and arrived a day earlier than we had reserved. The owners were totally kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend Pension Cordoba.
Oh, and to those folks who complain that not all the staff speak English. Um, it’s SPAIN people! Mandarin speaking people don’t come to North America expecting everyone to speak Mandarin (and the female staff speak excellent English).
